Unforgettable experiences. The new Scalpel redefines the concept of speed for a racing XC bike, with the most advanced geometry and suspension of the moment and specific race setups.
Fast, light, and capable on XC circuits or technical trails, the Scalpel 3 is built to fly. The frame is made from our advanced Series 1 carbon. Then, it is equipped with a 12-speed Shimano XT/Deore group, RockShox SID Select remote-controlled suspensions both front and rear, and Stan's No Tubes Crest MK4 wheels for excellent speed and control.
The thrill of speed. Winner of XC World Cup and Marathon races. Devours trails at full speed.
More travel and higher quality Thanks to the magic of our FlexPivot kinematics and Proportional Response suspension, the Scalpel's 120mm travel provides more traction and control than ever, with all the pedaling efficiency and responsiveness expected from a World Cup category bike.
Speed starts with geometry, and the Scalpel has the best numbers. It has a slack 66.6º head angle, a steeper 75.5º seat tube angle, and chainstays that grow as the frame size increases to keep the rider always balanced between the wheels. The result? More power and traction on climbs, better control in corners, and a new level of confidence when riding at high speed.
This is not an exercise in aesthetic design. It is pure and hard design to achieve a purpose. Every single element that shapes the Scalpel has been created under the auspices of kinematics, lightness, stiffness, and performance. The goal defines the shape rather than the shape limiting performance. And fast, often looks spectacular.
