Our Flat Top bead profile, patent pending in the U.S., requires 85% more force to create a pinch flat compared to a standard round bead, virtually eliminating the dreaded “snake bites.”

AIR TIME:

Thanks to our engineer Chuck Teixeira for inventing the “Roval ThreadBed Valve,” which threads directly into the rim. This clever design eliminates compression nuts, prevents air loss from rim flex, simplifies tire installation, and reduces sealant clogging.

FAST ENGAGEMENT:

The i9 1/1 hub optimizes control with a dual-phase pawl system, 90 points of engagement, and a 4° engagement angle from its six pawls and 45-tooth driver. The result: immediate power transfer from pedals to drivetrain, propelling the rider with minimal delay. Ideal for technical sections where you need quick engagement.

CRASH REPLACEMENT:

No-fault “It Happens” replacement for 2 years—if you damage your Roval product during a ride in the first two years and it’s not covered by the warranty, we’ll still repair or replace it.
