Up until this point, however, comfort came with some compromises, but now, the new Roubaix Comp now offers uncompromising performance by introducing the radical new Future Shock 2.0 that gives you more control on rough roads, a new Pavé seatpost that makes our Roubaix the most balanced to date, aerodynamics that match the Tarmac and the Rider-First Engineered™ frame that actually saves weight. Is it still comfortable? Sure, but it's not just a comfortable bike, performance has been behind every engineering decision we've made. Here's the new Roubaix.
This Roubaix Comp delivers tremendous quality, but like the frame itself, this quality doesn't come alone. We've fitted it with the SRAM Rival eTap AXS 12-speed wireless groupset with crisp shifting and powerful hydraulic disc brakes, as well as tough, rolling DT R470 Disc wheels, the new S-Works Pavé seatpost, 28mm Turbo Pro tyres and our fan-favourite Power Comp saddle.

The new frame offers all the performance without compromise and all because of the perfect balance between aerodynamics, performance, lightness thanks to FACT 10r carbon and Rider-First Engineeringâ„¢, with tube shapes that were born in our FreeFoil shape library and validated in the Win tunnel, the new Roubaix is as aerodynamic as the Tarmac SL6. Meanwhile, to ensure lightness and ride quality, we turned to a Rider-First Engineeredâ„¢ design to deliver optimum stiffness and compliance in all sizes, from 44cm to 64cm. Of course, we've saved a fair amount of frame weight in the process. We've also left enough room to fit 33mm tyres.
To complement the new frame, we have developed the new S-Works Pavé which is the first aerodynamic seatpost with vertical elasticity. Building on the same D-shaped design found on the Tarmac, we added flexibility to the top of the seatpost and developed a new saddle clamp design that sits low on the frame. This makes the vertical springiness of the rear end perfectly balanced with that of the front end, so you can enjoy a smooth, balanced ride on any type of road.
The Future Shock 2.0 is the result of our pro riders' demands on the cobblestones of Roubaix. It's smoother, faster and gives you more control through a dial at the top of the stem. This dial adjusts compression from fully open to stiff, while the hydraulic damping internals control rebound. In short, this latest version will reduce fatigue and increase your speed, no matter the terrain. The new Smooth Boot, top cap and Future Stem improve aesthetics, so you get a clean transition from the head tube and stem. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
