3.25mm spacer for the right bottom bracket cup for mounting Shimano FC-M8100 and FC-M7100 cranksets on 2023 Oiz OMR and OMX frames.
To mount Shimano XT FC-M8100 cranksets (on 2023 Orbea Oiz M10 models) and Shimano SLX FC-M7100 cranksets with a 52mm chainline on 2023 Oiz Carbon frames, it is necessary to replace the 2.5mm spacer supplied with compatible bottom bracket cups with the Orbea 3.25mm (X915) spacer between the frame and the right bottom bracket cup (already installed on Orbea builds equipped with these cranksets).
If using the 2.5mm spacer with these crankset models and their respective chainrings (SM-CRM85 or SM-CRM75), there is a risk of interference between the back of the chainring and the outside of the right chainstay of the frame.
If you need to replace the bottom bracket cups on 2023 Oiz Carbon models equipped with these Shimano crankset models, replace the 2.5mm spacer included with the new cups with the 3.25mm Orbea spacer originally fitted to the bicycle.
If you are installing any of these crankset models and their respective chainrings on 2023 Oiz Carbon models that did not originally have these components, install this spacer instead of the one supplied with the Shimano bottom bracket.
When installing these cranksets on a 2023 Oiz Carbon, check that the back of the chainring does not interfere with the outside of the right chainstay before riding the bicycle.
