Keep your little cyclist on the path to two-wheeled freedom with the new Mio 2 helmet. Thanks to an exclusive collaboration with the KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Mips, we shared the CAD designs of our helmets and studied the malleable skulls of young children using finite element analysis (FEA). Since children’s heads are softer and still developing, this collaboration led to the use of low-density foam.

- DATA-DRIVEN INNOVATION:

Following our collaboration with KTH and Mips, the Mio 2 has increased the amount of low-density foam inside by 16.5%, while only increasing the helmet's size by 2.5%.

- COMFORT:

The Mio 2 may have the latest and greatest technology inside, but that only matters when the helmet is worn properly. That's why the Mio 2 features child-specific sizing and our SX fit system to help it stay securely and comfortably in place. The easy-to-use Tri-Fix strap divider makes getting a hassle-free fit incredibly simple—everything to create a helmet they'll want to wear.

On the outside, the Mio 2 comes in energetic colors that inspire young adventurers' creativity and expression. The included sticker pack gives a retro flair with a modern twist, featuring bright graphics and lettering for extra personalization. After all, getting our young cyclists excited enough to want to wear their helmet every day is goal number one.
