The S11 generation of the GT protective jacket is a windproof, water-repellent, and breathable model: these three characteristics define the adaptability of a versatile cycling piece, suitable for all seasons. During the summer, you can easily pack it into your jersey pocket and take it out when the weather threatens a storm or long, cold descents are anticipated. In the transitional seasons, it can be combined with mid-weight Spring/Autumn jerseys to add protection from the elements to the existing thermoregulation. During the winter, it creates a final barrier over a winter jacket to protect the body from extreme wet weather conditions. The jacket not only protects against precipitation and road spray but also wicks away moisture from the inside, thus preventing a humid and oppressive microclimate in summer or a damp, freezing, and sticky microclimate in spring, autumn, and winter. The higher collar and longer hem protect the neck and repel road spray, respectively, while ultra-stretch cuff panels create a seal around the wrists or gloves. FEATURED FABRICS Hurricane fabric is a new material that combines an ECO DWR waterproof barrier with breathability and windproof protection. The cuffs incorporate panels of water-repellent Sens-WR fabric, which wrap around the wrists without gaps to block road spray and allow for use with gloves without creating friction.
