Not every ride is a classic day trip or an epic gravel race, and the TACTICA Rain Jacket T5 is designed for exploration days, not race days. The fit is more relaxed: it features zipped side vents that open to expand the waist and a three-quarter zip at the front. However, the fabric is pure performance. The windproof and rainproof HURRICANE softshell material actively wicks moisture away from the inside to maintain a dry microclimate. It's also abrasion-resistant and protects against scrapes from vegetation, gravel terrain, and the daily rigors of cycle touring and commuting. For added comfort on walks or during casual rides, the side zips reveal panels of Sens WR fabric, a lightweight material that repels water while wicking away heat. On cycle touring trips and very long rides, this lightweight piece can be folded and stored in a backpack or frame bag so it's always on hand in case the weather changes. A lightweight, waterproof jacket for year-round riding in varying weather conditions, updated with a comfortable fit for adventure cycling, low-intensity cycle touring, and everyday commuting. FEATURED FABRICS: The three-layer HURRICANE softshell fabric, adapted from the GT road line, combines a waterproof, breathable, and windproof membrane with an eco-friendly water-repellent treatment. The cuffs incorporate panels of water-repellent Sens-WR fabric, which wrap around the wrists without gaps to block road spray and can be worn with gloves without creating friction. This fabric is also included in the space under the side zippers.
