Sure, it hasn't compromised on performance and happens to be the lightest frame out there, but without compromising on style. The Satin Carbon/Jet Fuel colour combination is the lightest finish we offer on an S-Works Aethos frame. It's also the perfect canvas if you crave a custom paint job. This is our RTP (Ready to Paint) colour scheme, which allows you to imagine the set-up, colours and design of your dreams, and then work with a specialist painter to make it a reality.

• The Aethos frame has been designed with the perfect combination of maximum handling feel, light weight and style: from accelerating up steep inclines and descending technical descents, to all-day saddle comfort on even the longest rides, the Aethos hits the mark. But how, you ask? By reinventing the traditional road shape found on bikes of the past, we've subtly altered these shapes to deliver massive gains in stiffness and balance, all without affecting weight or durability. Combine this with an entirely new layout and process that we've perfected over several decades and you have the lightest frame ever (585 grams, S-Works, size 56cm). The Aethos is more than just a new bike, it's the first of a new generation.
• A featherweight frame is useless without confidence-inspiring ride characteristics, so we developed the Aethos to have the perfect balance of front and rear stiffness combined with exceptional ride quality. By studying the flex and breathing of carbon fibre, we were able to uncover groundbreaking findings about how forces flow through frames. Just a few pedal strokes and you'll find that this sublime ride sets a new standard.
• The Satin Carbon/Jet Fuel colour scheme is ready to ride as is, but features logos that are stickers over a clear coat, so they can be easily removed in case you want to work with a specialist painter. The frame set includes a second set of stickers to apply after painting. Please note that when you modify the paint and/or graphics on your Aethos, the limited warranty provided by Specialized will no longer cover the paint and graphics. Any issues related to such modifications must be resolved between you and the painter.
